We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Script Writer / Researcher to join our AlMal content team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching financial topics, developing content ideas, and writing engaging scripts that educate and inform our audience. You will work closely with the production and creative teams to transform complex financial concepts into clear, compelling stories that align with the channel’s voice and content strategy. This role is ideal for someone passionate about finance, storytelling, and digital media.

• Research & Concept Development • Conduct in-depth research on financial topics such as investing, economics, markets, business, and personal finance.
• Stay up to date with financial news, trends, and global economic developments.
• Generate compelling content ideas and episode concepts aligned with the channel’s vision and audience.
• Verify facts, data, and sources to ensure accuracy and credibility of all content.
• Scriptwriting & Editing • Write engaging, well-structured scripts for video content with a clear and accessible storytelling style.
• Simplify complex financial concepts into easy-to-understand narratives for a broad audience.
• Edit and refine scripts to ensure clarity, flow, tone, and consistency with the channel’s brand voice.
• Adapt scripts for different platforms while maintaining message impact and audience engagement.
• Production Collaboration • Work closely with presenters, producers, and editors to ensure smooth execution of scripts.
• Revise scripts based on feedback from the production team or content performance insights.
• Contribute to content structure, hooks, calls-to-action, and overall episode pacing.

• Strong background and practical understanding of economics
• 3-10 years of experience in scriptwriting, content creation, or journalism.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities with strong attention to factual accuracy.
• Familiarity with short-form digital storytelling and social media platforms.
