Junior Scrum Master jobs in United Arab Emirates

The Scrum Master will serve as a servant leader and agile coach for cross-functional teams, ensuring effective implementation of Scrum practices within UAE-based technology or product-driven organizations. This role focuses on enabling teams to deliver high-value products through continuous improvement, collaboration, and removing impediments. The Scrum Master will also work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals, while ensuring compliance with local IT governance and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.

1. Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives in adherence to Scrum principles.
2. Coaching teams and individuals on Agile values, principles, and best practices to promote a high-performing, collaborative environment.
3. Identifying and removing impediments that hinder team productivity and delivery timelines.
4. Supporting product owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and ensuring user stories are well-defined and ready for development.
5. Monitoring team progress using Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity) and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
6. Promoting transparency and alignment across teams and stakeholders by maintaining communication and documentation.
7. Ensuring Agile tools (such as Jira or Azure DevOps) are effectively utilized to track progress and manage deliverables.
8. Advocating for Agile adoption and facilitating organizational change while aligning with UAE data security and IT compliance standards.

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory.
3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments, preferably within the UAE.
4. Proven ability to coach and mentor Agile teams, with a strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
5. Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Familiarity with UAE data protection regulations and IT project governance standards.
8. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
