Job summary
A leading IT services company in the UAE is seeking an experienced IT support professional to serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance. The role entails ensuring optimal performance of computer systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing support via phone and email. Candidates must have at least 3 years of IT support experience in the UAE and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to enhancing user productivity and maintaining IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar IT support role within the UAE.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact (Helpdesk) for users.
- Ensure optimal performance of computer systems.
- Install and configure computer hardware and software.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Assess technical issues and provide solutions.
- Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic tools.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams.
- Document incidents and resolutions.
- Maintain backups and secure storage.
Skills

- Provide timely and accurate updates on the status of IT support tickets.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system events in detailed logs.
- Follow up on open tickets and ensure all updates are properly recorded.
- Maintain scheduled backups and ensure secure storage of backup.
- Minimum of 3 years\' experience in a similar IT support role within the UAE.
