Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent, dedicated, and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager / Inventory Controller to join our team.
The incumbent will be responsible for demand and supply planning, monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock as needed, managing inbound/outbound products, ensuring inventory record accuracy, conducting audits, analyzing data, and other related tasks.
Core Responsibilities / Job Description:
- Perform demand & supply planning and forecast future needs by analyzing sales data, inventory position, market trends, and other factors.
- Oversee the management of inventory, including stock levels, restocking, and efficient space utilization.
- Implement inventory control processes to manage carrying costs, reduce losses, and prevent stock-outs or overstock situations.
- Ensure checking, tracking, and recording of all inbound and outbound inventory transactions are accurate and timely.
- Maintain inventory record accuracy at all points to avoid variances between system and physical stock and improve stock visibility.
- Manage warehouses, including effective space utilization, setting put-away and picking rules, and structuring zones (e.g., dispatch zone, loading docks, offloading area, shelving/racking systems).
- Develop a strong teamwork environment and liaise between upper management and lower staff.
- Recruit, train, lead, counsel, and coach team members; set job descriptions for the team.
- Set performance expectations, assign tasks, and conduct performance evaluations of subordinates.
- Analyze sales/purchase/return data, develop reports based on available information, and submit reports to management for decision-making.
- Facilitate strong communication and coordination among different Strategic Business Units (SBUs) in the GCC region and beyond.
- Conduct periodic/random audits, develop reports based on audit findings, and submit reports to management for further review and decision-making.
Skills, Experience, and Education Required:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager / Inventory Controller or similar role.
- Possess a university degree in Business Management with a major in Supply Chain.
- Proficient in various ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics, particularly in inventory management, demand & supply planning, and operations management modules.
- Ability to use advanced Excel tools in any business environment and possess strong presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with commendable communication abilities.
- Good team management, time management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in challenging situations.
