Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in the UAE is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the engineering phase of an offshore oil & gas project. The role emphasizes electrical design and technical coordination, requiring 5-8 years of relevant experience, particularly in offshore projects. Candidates need a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and proficiency in tools such as ETAP or EDSA. The position involves preparing engineering deliverables, performing electrical calculations, and ensuring compliance with standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of Oil & Gas experience.
- Mandatory offshore project engineering experience.
- Strong experience in FEED / Detailed Engineering / Design phases.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables for offshore facilities.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and cable schedules.
- Interface with other disciplines to ensure design integration.
