Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Front End Developer located in Cape Town. This role involves writing and coding individual programs for company Front-End applications according to specifications. Ideal candidates should have 5-7 years of proven experience in software development with strong skills in HTML and CSS, as well as knowledge of Java and SQL. A relevant tertiary qualification and understanding of user experience design are advantageous.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years proven experience in software development.
- Must have detailed knowledge of Testing practices.
- Experience working with designers and understanding of User Experience and UI Design advantageous.

Qualifications and experience:
- 5-7 years proven experience in software development
- Experience in the following development languages:
- SQL 2005 and higher
- Java
- HTML
- CSS
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
- Must have detailed knowledge of:
- Testing practices
- Knowledge of:
- UML
- Systems analysis and design
- Experience working with designers and having an understanding of User Experience and UI Design would be an added advantage
