Solar Sales Representative

RPO's client is actively seeking a skilled Solar Sales Representative to join our client in Benoni, East Rand. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated sales professional to drive solar energy adoption by identifying potential clients, designing tailored solar solutions, and closing sales. Responsibilities:

1. Identify and generate leads through cold calling, referrals, networking events, online research, and partnerships with local businesses.
2. Utilise CRM tools to manage leads and track sales progress.
3. Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers to understand their energy needs.
4. Evaluate properties' solar potential and provide tailored solutions.
5. Present the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and potential government incentives.
6. Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to educate customers about solar energy.
7. Explain the installation process and address any concerns or objections.
8. Prepare comprehensive and accurate proposals outlining recommended solar system designs, equipment specifications, financial analysis, and estimated return on investment.
9. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
10. Effectively negotiate terms and pricing to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring profitability.
11. Overcome objections and address customer concerns to facilitate the closing of deals.
12. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process and beyond.
13. Provide excellent customer service, address enquiries, and manage post-installation follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and foster referrals.
14. Stay updated on solar industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and government policies related to renewable energy.
15. Continuously enhance knowledge of solar technology advancements and industry best practices.
16. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, installation, and project management, to ensure a seamless transition from sales to installation.
17. Communicate customer requirements and provide necessary documentation for successful project execution.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in solar sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
2. Experience in designing and quoting solar systems.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
4. Strong understanding of solar energy systems, market trends, and government incentives.
5. Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
7. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for renewable energy.
