As our Content Creator / Video Producer (Paid Ads), you will be responsible for research, scripting & conceptualizing, filming, and editing video ads that drive high engagement and maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) on performance marketing paid ads. You’ll work closely with our Performance Marketing team & the founder to produce short-form videos and UGC-style ads that convert.
Key Focus: Creating high-performance ad creatives for Meta (Facebook/IG) and TikTok
Research industry trends, audience behavior, and competitors’ best-performing ad creatives to refine SimplyGood’s approach.
Script, shoot, and edit high-performing short-form 30-60s video ads (Instagram reels / Facebook Ads, TikTok, Reels,...) tailored for different platforms.
Create scroll-stopping short-form video content optimized for paid ads (TikTok, Meta, YouTube).
Develop viral ad concepts using hooks, trends, and storytelling techniques that drive engagement & conversions.
Film and edit UGC-style ads, product demos, testimonial videos, and behind-the-scenes content. Repurpose organic content into high-performing ad creatives using motion graphics, captions, and split-screen formats.
A/B test different creative variations and iterate based on ad performance data.
Stay ahead of social media & ad trends to create content that feels fresh and native to each platform.
Work closely with the Performance Marketing Team to optimize creatives for ROAS.
Track ad performance metrics (CTR, ROAS, CPM, CPA) to optimize content for better results.
1- 3 years of experience in paid ad content creation, performance marketing, or digital advertising.
Proven experience in video production & editing (experience with eCommerce brands or DTC ads is a plus).
Strong understanding of paid ad creatives (what works for TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts) optimized for conversions (not just brand awareness).
Skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).
Experience in storytelling & viral content creation (knowing how to hook viewers in the first 3 seconds).
Ability to self-shoot and edit high-quality videos.
Basic motion graphics & text overlay skills to enhance video engagement.
Obsessed with social media trends—you know what’s trending before others do.
Strong portfolio of paid ads or high-converting video content.
Experience in eCommerce, FMCG, or DTC brand advertising.
Startup experience / background
UGC-style content experience—knowing how to make ads feel organic and not "salesy".
Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager (to understand ad creative performance).
