The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly-driven individual with a degree in Engineering, Math, or Finance for an immediate start to join our Energy Markets & Energy Services team. You will be joining a distributed team with team members from different countries.
The role
ESEM provides internal support to the sales team, account management, energy market analysis, and settlements by the collation and preparation of all required data to submit energy tender requests, both new and renewal, to retailer partners (Energy Companies).
Ensure daily systems requirements meet the needs of the business and develop ongoing improvements to ensure we maintain our competitive technological advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Collate and analyse customers energy usage, including –
Assist in the production of Tenders / Product Proposals to Customers;
Using and developing spreadsheet models;
Model customer’s energy usage where necessary.
Perform office administration services to –
Assist delivery of services to customers;
General Office duties as required;
Work in accordance with legal and statutory requirements, company policies and procedures;
Create and maintain Engineering ISO documentation as required;
Commit to following the corporate core ethics of “Smart, Rigorous, and Trustworthy”;
Work within the constraints of the company quality system and workplace health and safety measures;
Perform tasks in a timely, cost-effective and auditable manner.
Qualification and Experience
A Degree in Engineering, Math, or equivalent.
Preferably a professional registration or membership.
Skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Possess advanced literacy and numeracy skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have an eye for detail and accuracy and task orientation.
Ability to effectively operate as part of a multi-skilled team.
Demonstrated time management skills.
Flexibility in responding to changing demand.
Excellent interpersonal skills, e.g. verbal and written communication.
Experience in analysing energy usage and demand factors, a plus.
