Operations Manager – Asset Management Firm

Company Overview

Our client is a leading hedge fund specializing in quantitative asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Investor Relations & Fundraising Support

  • Assist the fundraising team with due diligence requests, including evaluating investment strategies, risk controls, and team capabilities.

  • Draft analysis and presentations, manage investor queries, and update FAQs and DDQs.

  • Maintain and update marketing materials such as Firm Overview decks, Portfolio Overviews, Investment Case Studies, and quarterly newsletters.

• Portfolio & Fund Performance Management

  • Monitor portfolio and fund performance data, track changes, and provide analysis.

• Operations & Compliance

  • Support operational tasks, including trade processing, NAV calculations, fund accounting, and broker/exchange relationships.

  • Conduct industry, competitor, and investor research.

  • Assist with compliance tasks, ensuring regulatory disclosures (MAS, SEC, FCA) and supporting KYC/AML processes.

• Business & Strategy Support

  • Collaborate with the Business Team on ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in investment analysis or fund selection, preferably in hedge funds or financial institutions.

• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with due diligence processes in asset management, endowments, or sovereign wealth funds.

• Knowledge of quantitative modeling, investment valuation, and portfolio management.

• Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel) is a plus.

• Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a global environment.
