Works under the direction of Maintenance Manager to plan all type maintenance, monthly/annual outage and overhauling work activities on plant equipment and keeping the record.

1. To prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.
2. Acquires considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant systems throughout the plant and applies the same to troubleshoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issues.
3. Executes work order through CMMS (SAP) and coordinates with maintenance engineer for job completion and technical matters.
4. To apply technical craft, techniques, processes and principles and be responsible for all necessary preparation required to carry out mechanical maintenance to equipment/area assigned to him.
5. To report to Maintenance Manager for daily activities spare parts and consumables in the department to update spares availability to cope up with the maintenance requirements.
6. To perform routine, corrective and preventive maintenance of plant equipment, cleaning of machines related to electrical section.
7. Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated.
8. Implement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs.
9. Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS.
10. Report IMS performance to the management periodically.
11. Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities.
12. Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non-conformances/deviations and to implement corrective actions/preventive actions.
13. Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.
14. Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees.
15. Responsible to ensure compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements.
16. Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance.
17. Identification, documentation and control of hazards in assigned work area.
18. Ensure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed.
19. Report deviations in Integrated Management System & identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions.
20. Reporting of emergencies and incidents and near misses.
21. Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational: Bachelor’s engineering degree (B.E) in Electrical from a four-year college or university.

Minimum Experience: Ten years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
