Develop a preventive and predictive maintenance plan for each aspect according to the standards to maintain the efficiency of the operation.
• Evaluate and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance to ensure efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of work.
• Manage infrastructure projects and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Inspect the infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, such as fire safety, occupational health, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct an internal review (Inspection) to ensure that work complies with total quality management and ISO standards.
• Record all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in the system and maintain accurate documentation for audit and review.
• Monitor and manage inventory of materials and tools needed for various maintenance tasks, coordinating procurement of additional resources as necessary.
• Oversee external contractors (third-party companies) in executing assigned work and conduct technical acceptance of their work.
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate relocation projects and other cross-functional activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and ensure that workers implement the health and safety standards in the workplace to maintain employee safety and the safety of the rest of the team.
• Contribute to the specifications’ development for any infrastructure upgrades, refurbishments, or expansions with the Maintenance Manager.
Academic & professional qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Preferred: Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Preferred: Certifications in Facility Management, Maintenance Management, or Health and Safety. Experience:
• 7 - 10 years of experience in maintenance.
Skills and Abilities:
• Strong knowledge of building infrastructure systems (electrical, HVAC, water supply, fire safety systems).
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and optimization of utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to create technical reports.
• Interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and leadership skills.
Language Proficiency:
• Very Good Command of English & Arabic – Ordo is a plus
