An exciting opportunity is available for the position of Section Head, Continuous Improvement, based in Dammam, KSA, who will report directly to the Manager, Operational Excellence.
Summary:
- Deliver innovative and proven ‘Digital Transformation solutions and Operations Excellence methodologies’ tailored to the business needs of all the SBU factories.
- Command on KPIs management, loss analysis in the value chain using OE tools, can design business, plants and departments performance control systems to have robust reporting and escalation system.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Deploying loss analysis to deliver cost improvement, new products, and other initiatives management program to deliver timely and effective bottom-line results.
- Analysing performance data to identify and measure effectiveness of existing processes and recommend process improvements.
- Partnering with BUs and Functions personnel to secure data for identification of improvement opportunities/project definitions.
- Validating improvement opportunities using appropriate tools and assisting in building the improvement plans.
- Designing digital systems to track performance through dashboards and real-time informatics in the factories.
- Providing technical support in specialized areas, including process simulation/safety, modelling, and process optimization.
- Applying knowledge of operational environment to identify actions to remove barriers for operational excellence initiatives.
- Benchmarking and interacting with other organizations to optimize work processes and assisting in building BU specific improvement plans.
- Implementing operational excellence projects and initiatives as identified in the plan to meet the objectives and goals set.
- Mapping key processes and facilitating others in process mapping.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Engineering Degree with relevant experience.
- 7 to 8 years’ experience with Degree is desirable.
