The Challenge

The Role
As part of a globally expanding company, the Sales Export Manager will be responsible for building and consolidating the commercial network in selected foreign markets, managing a portfolio of clients/distributors with a budget of €4-6 million, and contributing to the company’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new international markets, selecting the best market entry strategy (distributors, agents, direct subsidiaries).
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing direct customers and distribution partners.
- Negotiate and oversee commercial offers, ensuring contract closure and achievement of sales targets.
- Monitor forecast and budget on a monthly/annual basis, aligning the commercial strategy with corporate objectives.
- Collaborate with Business Unit Managers to develop new product lines and enhance the commercial offering.
- Participate in international trade fairs and strategic meetings, representing the company in foreign markets.
Key Markets:
- Germany, South Korea, Poland, and other strategic areas under development.
Budget:
- €4-6 million with significant growth potential.
Travel Requirements:
- Approx. 50% of working time, with structured business trips to target markets.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technical background: Degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial sector experience.
- Experience: Preferably as Sales Export Manager, Area Manager, or similar roles in the industrial components, machinery, or steel industry.
- Language skills: Fluent English is mandatory; a second language (German, French, or Spanish) is a plus.
- Results-driven: Ability to develop business strategically and negotiate effectively.
- Empathy & Networking: Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to build long-term commercial partnerships.
- Flexibility & Dynamism: Capacity to operate in complex business environments with a growth-oriented mindset.
- Hands-on & Collaborative Approach: Strong results orientation, without rigid hierarchical constraints.
