Ferring+You
You will ensure the implementation and provide input into the Company commercial strategy by delivering sales and contribution targets for the country, optimising resource allocations, maximising growth and return on investment and driving market share growth for designated products while maintaining patient centricity and customer relationships on the long term.
Your day at Ferring
- Responsible to lead according to the Ferring Philosophy, mission and leadership principles
- Legally represent Ferring, and ensure proper management of the Company according to laws and regulations in force in the Country
- Locally represent and promotes the views of Ferring to relevant bodies such as but not limited to government agencies, health authorities, pharma associations
- Ensure proper corporate management through timely application of and compliance to pertaining regulations (such as Finance, Legal, HR) and according to powers assigned by the Board of Directors
- Lead at country level the building and implementation of the Strategic Business Plan
- Lead our in-market commercial strategy in collaboration with our global franchises and commercial operations function
- Directly responsible for the management and supervision of our Reproductive Medicine Business Unit
- Develop the yearly budget and once approved, lead its implementation and delivers financial results
- Contribute to sharing and learning from best practices
- Contribute beyond own geographic scope to company success for example by actively participating to corporate meetings
- Identify local business growth opportunities and leverage them to deliver financial results and market share growth
- Lead and coordinate the different functions in the country (such as regulatory, marketing, sales, medical, finance, HR) in alignment with corporate functions
- Ensure an accurate, timely and transparent reporting and communication within the country and towards Region, Area, Group
- Build and adapt the local organization ensuring commercial effectiveness through structure and processes optimization, and appropriate resourcing of support functions.
- Drive people development and engagement, effective performance management including talent and succession pipeline
Behind our innovation…There’s you
- 10 to 15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Mandatory sales, marketing, people management experience; ideally transversal experience (i.e., cross geography, cross TA)
- Demonstrated experience in ability to influence outside of direct reporting lines
- University degree level in Business, Marketing and/or Science
- Fluent in English, written and spoken; commitment to learn local language
- Strong presentation and written communication skills
- Ability to understand technical and complex information and data referring to science and healthcare
- Sound marketing knowledge
- Sound sales effectiveness knowledge
- Analytical ability
- Financial and legal understanding
- Willingness to learn and to adapt
