We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customs Clearance Coordinator to oversee and manage daily customs clearance operations. This role ensures that all import and export shipments comply with local and international regulatory requirements and are processed efficiently. The successful candidate will lead a team of customs clearance professionals, manage documentation accuracy, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous process improvements to ensure smooth and compliant customs operations.
Ensure all customs clearance activities comply with local and international regulations, including tariffs, trade agreements, and import/export laws.
Oversee the preparation and review of customs documentation, including import/export declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin.
Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
Address and resolve issues or discrepancies related to customs clearance.
Manage customs inspections, shipment delays, and regulatory inquiries efficiently.
Lead, supervise, and develop the customs clearance team.
Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to ensure strong performance and adherence to procedures.
Track and analyze key performance metrics related to customs clearance operations.
Prepare reports and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Implement and monitor customs clearance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements to optimize operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in customs clearance or logistics.
At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
