The role:

1. Assess and diagnose mental health conditions
2. Develop individualised treatment plans for patients
3. Administer psychiatric medications and monitor their effects
4. Provide various forms of therapy, including individual and group sessions
5. Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessment
6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
7. Advocate for patients' rights and support their recovery journey
8. Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families
9. Promote mental health awareness and destigmatisation
10. Stay updated on current practices and treatments in mental healthcare

Nursing requirements:

1. NMC registration
2. 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting
3. Right to work in the UK
4. UK references
