Veterinary Surgeon / Vet who is a member of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons with competence in all areas of clinical practice including diagnostic imaging and general surgery, with working knowledge of clinical small animal practice is required to join the RCVS accredited veterinary practices at Guide Dogs.
SALARY: £50,000 - £58,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 35 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm on a rota basis, no out of hours

JOB OVERVIEW
Due to internal promotion, we have a fantastic job opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon / Vet who is a member of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons with competence in all areas of clinical practice including diagnostic imaging and general surgery, with working knowledge of clinical small animal practice.
Working as a key member of a specialised team, the Veterinary Surgeon / Vet will provide clinical care for breeding dogs, puppies, training dogs, and working guide dogs.
As the Veterinary Surgeon / Vet, your expertise will be central to the success of the service dogs, directly impacting the lives of the individuals with sight loss. This is a role that offers both purpose and collaboration, where your contributions truly make a difference.
You will head up the clinical veterinary team and will be supported by a Senior Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Nurse, and Pharmacy Assistant, all working at the on-site practice facilities.
