Freelance PR Senior Account Manager / Account Director, Remote working anywhere in the UK - Up to £400 per day

We’re looking for a talented freelancer to join this busy life sciences agency. As Freelance PR Senior Account Manager / Account Director you’ll be helping clients with a variety of interesting campaigns, being able to hit the ground running with various teams. Being a Freelance PR Senior Account Manager / Account Director means you’ll be helping clients work with life science professionals across the globe to enable scientific progress and making a real difference. They’re looking for someone with an understanding of life sciences and a background in PR for this role.

This role will see you working with a range of planners and strategists, producers, client teams and more to produce your work. You’ll be keeping on top of timelines and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and brief.

This Freelance PR Senior Account Manager / Account Director will:

1. Work across a portfolio of clients, supported by a team of Account Managers / Executives and specialist delivery teams.
2. Interpret the business challenges faced by (for example, bottlenecks in their marketing and sales funnel) and then make recommendations to solve these issues.
3. Create integrated marketing strategies and plans that are targeted to these needs and objectives, applying in-depth knowledge of marketing tactics to select appropriate activities and channels that deliver results.
4. Manage and execute against plans by briefing and working with our specialist public relations, paid media, content, design, and development teams to deliver high-quality results, on deadline and on budget.
5. Review content, assets, and deliverables to ensure they are of high quality, effectively meet or exceed the brief, and effectively communicate key client messages.
6. Identify gaps in content to deliver on plans and suggest topics and content formats to fill gaps.

This Freelance PR Senior Account Manager / Account Director will have:

1. Plenty of experience working across PR and Life Sciences.
2. Previous experience working with clients that operate globally, particularly Europe and the US.
3. Broad channel and tactical experience such as content marketing, paid media (trade press, social, search), email marketing, media relations/PR, SEO, ABM, lead nurturing and sales enablement.
4. Experience with reviewing project materials produced by the team (e.g. white papers, blogs, press release, articles, media pitches, metrics reports etc.), providing insightful QA and QC input.
5. A scientific background (e.g. BSc or PhD in a science-related subject) is preferred.
