Family Legal Secretary

Location: Frome, office-based

Salary: DOE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Family Legal Secretary to provide support within the Family Department of a well-established law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the family department, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks.
• Accurate typing and audio typing of legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
• Answering phone calls with a professional telephone manner and dealing with client inquiries.
• Managing and organising appointments, meetings, and diary schedules.
• Ensuring client files are kept up to date and organised.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong typing and audio typing skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Previous family law experience is desirable, but not essential.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
