The role will include managing the lead up to the festival, in conjunction with the editor and an event producer, working closely with multiple partners from both within the BBC and externally, as well as being on location for the event itself to ensure it runs smoothly. You will work closely with the editorial team and supervise junior members of the team, as well as volunteers for the event. You will be responsible for preparing, managing and monitoring production budgets and reporting the financial position to the editor and production executive. You will also need experience of interpreting editorial briefs and there is the opportunity to lead on the digital promotion and coverage of the festival and creatively input into this project.

You will have managed relationships with both external stakeholders and worked with multiple programme and technical teams at the same time. You’ll have proven ability to manage projects within a set budget, as well as demonstrable experience of working with BBC systems, including SAP.
