Job Title: Absolute Application Resilience Engineer
Duration: 6 Months
IR35 Status: INSIDE
We are recruiting for an Application Consultant with hands-on technical experience with Absolute Application Resilience & configuration.
This will be on an initial 6-month contract, working onsite in Knutsford (Cheshire), 2-3 days per week.
- Architect and engineer Absolute Application Resilience solutions that align with corporate level strategies.
- Create, review and maintain Absolute security solution documentation including documenting & publishing fixes in the central knowledge base.
- Work with global teams to provide consistent processes and solutions.
- Lead technical and strategic conversations with respect to Absolute and advise partners on complex technical deployments and guidance on Application Resilience and Recovery.
- 3 - 4+ years of industry experience.
- Hands-on technical experience with Absolute Application Resilience & configuration.
- Experience designing and building high-performance, secure, scalable, observable, supportable, and maintainable backend services.
- Knowledge of Tanium, MS Defender for Endpoint, and Zscaler.
- Knowledge of Bitlocker agent configuration, logging, and health monitoring.
- Experience with multiple cloud technologies (e.g., AWS and Azure).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills across complex systems.
- Able to articulate complicated processes to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating designs for the implementation of commercial off-the-shelf products.
- Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
- Experience in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in the financial sector.
- Demonstrates excellent judgment for balancing between rapid development, long-term code maintainability, and supportability.
- Believes in the power of and the need for writing automated tests as part of development.
