Sales and Lettings Administrator (Temporary)

12-month contract | Immediate start | Hybrid (Aldgate & WFH)

Urban Spaces is a design‑led estate agency that does things a little differently. Based in Aldgate, we specialise in selling and letting London’s most unique homes, from warehouse conversions in Shoreditch to Victorian school redevelopments in Clapham. We’re looking for a well‑organised, proactive and confident administrator to support our fast‑paced team and help keep operations running smoothly.

The role

This is a temporary position with strong potential to develop into a permanent role for the right person. As the business continues to grow, this post also offers scope to take on senior responsibilities in due course. Initially you’ll be supporting our sales and lettings teams with a varied range of responsibilities, including:

  • Onboarding new clients and conducting AML checks
  • Coordinating photography shoots and marketing preparation
  • Preparing tenancy documentation and issuing tenancy agreements
  • Completing pre‑tenancy checks and ensuring all property files remain compliant
  • Maintaining accurate records across our lettings portfolio
  • Assisting with property launches and providing general operational support

You’ll play a key role in keeping sales and lettings transactions on track while ensuring compliance and strong customer service standards.

The role is based in our Aldgate office (Standon House) with coverage across Central London. Office attendance is on Mondays and Thursdays, with remote working on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll have at least two years’ experience in a busy administrative role, ideally within the property sector. You’ll be highly organised, IT confident, comfortable working at pace and able to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues. This role suits someone who thrives in a team, enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering great customer service.
