We are looking to recruit two UK Conservation Project Managers to join our Conservation Programmes team to help deliver a transition in the way we use natural resources to ensure maximised delivery for people, nature and climate by 2030.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing programme and grant management support for a portfolio of grants and contracts, focused on those that are part of our wholescape pilots.
Our wholescape approach involves collaborative action to achieve social, economic and environmental objectives at scale, supporting programmes of work that are integrated across land, freshwater and the coast. We are piloting the wholescape approach in Norfolk, Pembrokeshire, Wales and the Firth of Forth, Scotland, evidencing how interventions on land can support freshwater and coastal restoration.
You will work with a cross-department internal team and a number of delivery partners, academics, consultants and stakeholders to deliver against our strategy as well as share learnings with and learn from WWF’s global network. You will primarily be focused on providing programme, financial and grant management support for WWF-UK funded grants and contracts. This will involve ensuring effective planning, budgeting and management under the UK Portfolio and leading work to monitor the impact of the programme. You will also collaborate with colleagues to develop fundraising proposals and communications.

This role is hybrid and you’ll be required to be in the office 20% of your contracted hours. The job is based at our UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey. The Living Planet Centre is one of the greenest buildings in the UK, and you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.
