Part Time Legal Secretary

Part Time role, 3 days per week

21 - 25 hours per week

Salary up to £24k pro rota

Based in Rotherham

Medlock Partners are partnering with a successful law firm based in Rotherham who are looking to hire a part time legal secretary to join their busy and fast-paced immigration team. The successful person will have previous experience as a legal secretary with the ability to communicate at all levels and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key responsibilities of the Part Time Legal Secretary:

1. Supporting fee earners with administrative duties and audio typing
2. Opening and closing of case files
3. Coordinating and booking interpreters, clients, and third parties
4. Handling client queries via telephone, email, and face-to-face consultations
5. Assisting with filing, photocopying, document bundles, and covering for front of house

Key requirements for the Part Time Legal Secretary:

1. Previous legal secretary experience, ideally within immigration law
2. Strong organisational and communication skills
3. Quick learner and eager to gain new skills
4. Strong systems skills and knowledge including MS Office, specifically Excel
5. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels within the company
