As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your designated room(s), ensuring a safe, happy, and stimulating environment that supports children's development.

1. Lead and manage the daily activities within your room, ensuring learning opportunities align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
2. Plan engaging activities that promote development in all key learning areas.
3. Supervise and support staff, volunteers, and students.
4. Maintain accurate records such as attendance registers, incident reports, and learning journals.
5. Work closely with parents to support each child's individual needs.
6. Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
7. Support OFSTED requirements by maintaining up-to-date paperwork and records.

1. A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare.
2. At least 2 years' experience working in a childcare setting.
3. Knowledge of Development Matters in the EYFS and statutory requirements.
4. A Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety certificate.
5. An Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
6. Child protection training and an understanding of safeguarding procedures.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and parents.

1. Salary of £27,768 per year (£13.35/hour)
2. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
3. Closed during Christmas and all bank holidays
4. Extra day off on your birthday
