Frontend Engineer
Job summary
A leading technology services provider is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join their Digital team on an initial 3-6 month contract, working remotely. This role focuses on delivering high-quality frontend applications using React and Next.js, requiring strong collaboration skills with product and design teams. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in frontend development, unit testing, and CI/CD workflows, and the ability to work effectively in an agile delivery environment.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience developing frontend applications using React.
- Strong experience with Next.js.
- Hands-on experience using Apollo GraphQL.
- Solid understanding of unit testing, ideally using Jest and/or Vitest.
- Excellent software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain frontend applications using modern React-based technologies.
- Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Contribute to technical design decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- Write and maintain unit tests to support robust and reliable codebases.
- Support continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, and pipelines.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and delivery activities.

We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join a Digital team on an initial 3-6 month contract, working remotely and inside IR35. This is a hands‑on delivery role for a contractor who can quickly embed into an agile environment and contribute to building high‑quality, scalable digital products.
You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver clean, maintainable frontend solutions, helping shape user‑focused experiences while supporting rapid, iterative delivery.
