Job summary
A technology staffing agency is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to work on-site in Norfolk. The role includes providing desktop support, assisting with helpdesk operations, and managing upgrades. Candidates should have proven experience in a desktop IT support role, be familiar with the Windows and Office 365 suite, and possess a basic understanding of networking concepts like IP addressing and DNS. Strong communication skills are also essential. This position offers a competitive daily rate and is compliant with IR35 regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in a desktop IT support role.
- Knowledge of Windows and Office 365 suite of products.
- Understanding of basic networks such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, routing, WiFi.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is useful.
- Strong communication skills within technical and non-technical environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support to clients on-site.
- Assist with helpdesk operations.
- Manage upgrades and installations of software.
