As a Junior Software Tester at SBS, you'll play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. Working alongside experienced developers and testers, you'll gain hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing, helping to shape the next generation of innovative solutions. What will you be doing?

1. Executing manual and automated test scripts to ensure that the application software works flawlessly
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, log, and resolve defects
3. Develop an understanding of the software development lifecycle, mastering techniques to analyse requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and execute a diverse array of test scenarios
4. Translate complex technical information into actionable insights, effectively reporting on test progress and defects to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

1. 1-2 years of experience in software testing (or a strong passion for quality assurance!)
2. Experience in the banking/finance industry is a bonus, but not essential!
3. A sharp eye for detail and an investigative mindset - you love finding hidden bugs!
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you'll work closely with developers and stakeholders
6. A drive to learn and adapt to new tools, methodologies, and best practices
7. Basic understanding of software development standards and testing processes
