We’re looking for a Software Engineer to:

1. support the Product Owner in developing a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap covering the full product lifecycle
2. perform the analysis of the ‘Current’ and ‘To-Be’ states
3. collaborate with stakeholders – elicit, document, validate, and manage requirements, translating gathered requirements into Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and Scenarios, that are clear to the team members in the pod
4. support the Product Owner create, manage and prioritise the pods backlog, in alignment with quarterly Objectives and Key Results
5. manage issues and dependencies within and outside the pod

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the IB Subledger – Account Posting Crew in London under the Business Division Control Stream.

Your expertise

1. bachelor degree or equivalent preferably focusing on finance, accounting, economics, engineering or computer science
2. experience in business analysis, product management and delivery of complex product to clients within Finance
3. good understanding of Investment Banking, Treasury businesses and front to back
4. good functional knowledge in the areas of financial accounting within the financial services industry
5. proficient in solution design and configuration of SAP FPSL for banking
6. deep knowledge of SAP S4 HANA
7. background and hands-on-experience in SAP FSDM, FPSL
8. hands on experience on data sourcing and ETL
9. sound knowledge on data lineage and data governance framework
10. change management experience; Agile framework experience using GITAB
11. curious to learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
12. strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
13. a self-starter, excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to details
14. innovative, able to challenge effectively and manage conflicting stakeholder needs
