We are seeking a Technical Research Intern to join our team at our Kippen location in West Stirlingshire. In this role, you will assist our small team in performing in‑depth research, analyzing data, and assisting in studies related to laser technology. You will also contribute to the development of innovative solutions while maintaining meticulous records of your research findings.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis
• Programming skills and an understanding of electronics
• Hands‑on skills, including experimentation and systematic recordkeeping
• Experience with research methodologies and conducting detailed investigations
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
• Educational background in engineering, technology, or a related scientific discipline

Initially the position will be as an unpaid intern, but a successful candidate proving to be an asset to the business will be considered for a paid role after 3 weeks.
