The Plough Inn is located in the heart of Hereford, a cathedral city with a strong cider-making tradition that stretches back to Mediaeval times and is proudly celebrated at the nearby Hereford Cider Museum. The outdoor facilities include a traditional skittle alley.

The pub benefits from having around 4,350 adults living within a ten-minute walk of the pub. The majority customer base is made up of mixed demographics from young to mature adults.
