Job Title: Line Performance Engineer
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk (4 on 4 off shift pattern)
Salary: £49,000 - £53,000 (including shift premium) depending on skill level + additional benefits
Position Summary
We are now looking for a Skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer, known internally as a Line Performance Engineer, to help deliver the reliability strategy for our Purina factory in Sudbury, Suffolk. Ideally, this would be a multiskilled engineer with a proven track record or a single skilled engineer willing to develop their career further.

A day in the life of a Line Performance Engineer
Here at Purina, we have moved to a 24/7-line centric approach to help drive efficiencies within our production. This position is a key role for the factory; responsible for multiple production assets in terms of the engineering strategy, to support in driving the site to world-class performance levels in safety, quality, cost, and service.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment to maximize uptime and contribute to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process. You will respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, perform regular maintenance checks, and identify areas for improvement to ensure high-quality production and a safe working environment.

To be successful in this key role, we expect you to ideally have experience working in a FMCG manufacturing environment, maybe as a Technician, Shift Engineer, or a Maintenance Engineer, and have strong service orientation amongst internal stakeholders with lots of proactive initiative and passion for continuous improvement.
