MC Technical Recruitment are partnered with a leading Energy business, currently seeking to expand their existing team of Customer Service Specialists at offices based in Carlisle. This includes resolving customer queries, troubleshooting solutions, problem solving on a daily basis whilst delivering excellent customer service.

1. Responding to inbound messages & calls from customers
2. Investigating, booking and coordinating engineer visits as necessary
3. Identifying events that may impact business and alert management
4. Generating customer documents and communications
5. Handling & resolving customer complaints
6. Creating, delivering and assisting with new systems implementation
7. Reconciling accounts and meter readings
8. Reconciling & advising customers on debt levels, escalating as required
9. Producing reports on customer accounts from the system
10. Forecasting and generating progress reports for the business
11. Other duties as required

1. Experience in customer services
2. Those who have worked in a call centre / helpdesk centre would be advantageous
3. Full understanding of Microsoft Office package
4. Experience handling complaints
5. Be literate with various types of technology or willing to learn
6. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

1. Competitive basic salary up to £23,500
