An established industry player is seeking flexible Relief Chefs to work in various kitchens across Derby and surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your expertise and the needs of each property. With a variety of care home contracts available, chefs with DBS checks are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience as a Chef de Partie or higher with strong cooking skills.
Ability to adapt to various kitchen sections and environments.

Work in diverse kitchens as a Relief Chef, adapting to different roles.

DBS check

Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and Care Homes in Derby and the surrounding areas are seeking Relief Chefs.

Flexible chefs who are able to work in a variety of properties sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirement of the property you will be working at.

We also have a number of care home contracts in this region which require Relief Chefs who have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks in order to work in their kitchens. There is plenty of year-round work available with these.

Requirements:

Chefs who have worked to at least Chef de Partie level with excellent all-round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section and used to working in fast-paced kitchens with all fresh produce.
It is not essential to have your own transport but it is advantageous.
