Senior Financial Analyst (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Analysis: Responsible for analyzing and managing the business development of the Business Group and its divisions to ensure both operational and strategic goals are met.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports, including forecasts for the Business Group, for presentation to the Board of Management of the Business Group and the Freudenberg Group as well as to other key stakeholders.
- Planning: Collaborate on the operative and strategic planning for the Business Group and coordinate the planning processes across all Divisions and Corporate Functions, to shape the future direction and development of the Business Group.
- Presentations: Assist in the development of detailed presentations on business performance for the Board of Management of the Business Group and the Freudenberg Group.
- Coordination: Work closely with Freudenberg's Group Controlling, Divisional Management as well as Controlling, and Corporate Functions to ensure alignment in reporting and planning efforts.
- Optimization: Perform profitability and ad-hoc analysis to derive recommendations and measures to enhance financial performance of the Business Group.
- Improvement: Continuously improve controlling and reporting processes, tools, and systems to boost the efficiency and accuracy of business analysis.
- Collaboration: Contribute your expertise to internal controlling projects and initiatives, helping to ensure the successful execution of group-wide projects.
Qualifications
- Education: You have completed your studies in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: You bring solid, hands-on knowledge and several years of professional experience in controlling and are skilled at maintaining a broad, strategic perspective across multiple business areas.
- Technical Expertise: Master SAP R/3 (FI/CO) and the Microsoft Office Suite to drive efficiency. Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management and SAP Analytics Cloud is a strong advantage.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical Prowess: Leverage sharp analytical and conceptual thinking to deliver precise business insights.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and teamwork, paired with a high level of commitment and initiative.
- Travel: Be ready to occasionally travel to support the team’s success.
