Zusammenfassung
A leading engineering and IT firm in Germany seeks a Building Energy Consultant. The role focuses on reviewing and validating energy performance certificates, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and collaborating with interns for data management. Candidates must possess a DENA certificate, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in German. This freelance position allows for remote work with occasional on-site presentations in the Arnsberg region.
Qualifikationen
- DENA certificate as Energy Consultant (Energieberater).
- Proven experience generating and validating Building Energy Performance Certificates.
- Up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for energy certificates.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- German language proficiency (mandatory, both written and spoken).
- Architecture or related education (for student intern role).
- Previous experience working with energy certificate software tools.
Aufgaben
- Review and validate Building Energy Performance Certificates that failed the automated algorithm check.
- Recalculate and verify energy certificate data using client-supplied software.
- Perform quality control and ensure compliance with legal and DENA standards.
- Collaborate with student interns for data entry and basic checks.
- Present results and discuss findings with the client during on-site meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of findings and calculations.

Building Energy Consultant (Stufe 2 Prüfung Energieausweise)
Work Type / Location: Freelance / Work Contract Remote with on-site presentations as required (Arnsberg District Government /DIBT)

Tasks:
- Review and validate Building Energy Performance Certificates (Energieausweise) that failed the automated algorithm check (Stufe 1) in the DIBT database.
- Recalculate and verify energy certificate data using the client-supplied software.
- Perform quality control and ensure compliance with current legal and DENA standards.
- Collaborate with student interns for data entry and basic checks (e.g., building dates, addresses, dimensions from architectural plans).
- Present results and discuss findings with the client during on-site meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of findings and calculations.
