Your Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Administrator to join our growing Program and Construction Management team. Working under a Senior Contract Administrator, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and administering construction contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and mitigating risks. This position requires a hybrid work model with a minimum of 3-4 days in-office per week or on-site presence at client locations for multi-year major infrastructure projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze construction contracts (subcontracts, purchase orders, etc.) for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Prepare and issue contract documents, including amendments, change orders, and notices.
• Track contract performance, monitor milestones, and identify potential issues or delays.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive contract files and records.
• Support negotiation and resolution of contract disputes and claims with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide administrative support to project managers and other stakeholders on contract-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and claim analysis is considered an asset.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Education and Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in construction contract administration, with a strong understanding of construction contracts and subcontracts.
• Bachelor's degree or certificate in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) are a plus.
