A prominent aviation company is seeking a Full-Time Purchaser in Saskatoon. This role involves price analysis, procurement of supplies and materials, and maintaining supplier relationships. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, 3-5 years of experience in aviation or warehouse settings, and relevant certifications. Purchaser – Full-Time – Saskatoon, SK
Under the general supervision of the Stores Manager, this position is responsible for purchasing products and materials for the company based on user requirements and in accordance with company procedures. This includes but is not limited to price/cost analysis, placing orders, and following up on delivery schedules along with establishing and maintaining business relationships with suppliers.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include a high school diploma, with three to five years' previous warehouse and/or aviation experience. A Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP) accreditation or equivalent, a Certificate in Purchasing or a Parts Management Technician Certificate are considered assets. A valid class 5 driver's license is also required.
