The City of Beaumont is seeking a dynamic Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) who thrives in balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on advisory support. What YOU’RE Responsible for:
As the HRBP, you’ll play a key role in delivering HR solutions that support Beaumont’s growth while keeping core HR practices relevant and effective. You’ll seamlessly balance operational HR support with strategic initiatives in areas such as:
- Talent Attraction & Retention:
- Lead the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding and retention strategies.
- Promote meaningful programs such as Canada Job grant, internships, wellness initiatives, and employee development opportunities.
- Facilitate key employee touchpoints like orientation, onboarding check-ins and exit interviews.
- Employee/Labour Relations:
- Coach and support managers to address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and facilitate workplace investigations.
- Provide expert guidance on complex situations while ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Champion open communication and positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values.
- Job Evaluation & Design:
- Oversee job evaluation processes and support the design of evolving roles to meet organizational needs.
- Conduct jurisdictional scans and research to recommend industry best practices.
- Performance Review Program:
- Coordinate the performance review process, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Partner with leaders to create meaningful development plans and provide coaching on feedback and performance management best practices.
- Disability Management:
- Guide managers and employees through disability claims and return-to-work processes in partnership with external providers, ensuring a focus on well-being and productivity.
- Advisory & Compliance Support:
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing HR expertise on policies/directives, programs, and employee matters.
- Promote HR programs that foster efficiency, engagement, and collaboration.
- Maintain records and processes to support compliance and organizational goals.
- Training & Facilitation:
- Assist in designing and facilitating training programs to support leadership, compliance, and employee growth.
- Lead engaging onboarding sessions to create a welcoming start for new hires and coach leaders on team development.

Education:
Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a generalist/advisory capacity.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee/labour relations, program delivery, and compliance.
- Background in facilitation, coaching, and presenting to various audiences.
