Job summary
A leading animation studio is looking for Set Extension Artists to join their Vancouver, BC studio starting in April 2026. The role requires creating appealing 3D environments and collaborating closely with multiple departments. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in digital painting, composition, and will be proficient in various software tools. The hiring range is C$90,400 to C$150,500 CAD per year, depending on experience and skills.
Qualifications
- Professional experience required, stylized feature animation experience preferred.
- High skill level in painting, composition, perspective, and color theory.
- Extensive knowledge of both 2D and 3D workflows.
Responsibilities
- Execute artwork integrated with CG environments.
- Collaborate with departments to achieve the final vision.
- Create high-quality digital matte paintings.
