About the Role:
The Executive Director provides leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with the Board of Directors' policies. This role requires a mission-driven leader who promotes excellence and accountability while cultivating a high-performing culture. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director manages three directors, overseeing seven managers and a workforce of 223 staff serving 220 residents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to set strategic goals and oversee daily operations.
2. Ensure programs effectively support individuals experiencing mental health, homelessness, substance use, and cognitive disorders.
3. Recruit and develop a skilled, compassionate team.
4. Build relationships with key stakeholders and advocate for the organization.
5. Manage risks related to people, property, finances, and reputation.

Candidate Profile:

1. Post-secondary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
2. Proven leadership with a track record of success in a similar role.
3. Experience in community-based organizations and programming for vulnerable populations.
4. Strong financial management, strategic planning, and crisis management skills.
5. Ability to build relationships, advocate for policy changes, and engage with the community.
