• under strict safety protocols, follow a route to transport students to and from school and bus stops, on time;
• ensure that students follow safety protocols while on the bus;
• perform routine cleaning and sanitizing on the bus; and
• as required, communicate with parents

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to problem solve and address challenging situations
• Able to work in efficiently while upholding safety protocols
• Able to work in loud and sometimes crowded environments
• Work as a team with all co-workers to achieve an efficient, productive working environment
• On a daily basis, able to perform tasks that may be physically demanding that includes but not limited to; climbing and balancing; stooping, kneeling, bending, turning, and reaching; lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing; and, prolonged sitting

Weather and terrain appropriate shoes/boots and outerwear are required to perform this job safely

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Requirement is a Valid class 5 Non Graduated Driver’s License

Training is available for successful candidates

Successful applicants will be required to submit before start date:

• Current Criminal Record Check (CRC) with Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Original document reported within the last 6 months of hire date; condition of employment

• Applicants cannot work before a clear CRC with VSC has been provided and approved*
• Clean drivers abstract
• Class 2 Medical
