How will you make a difference?
We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team and lead the design and implementation of technical solutions for our cloud infrastructure.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience working in cloud engineering or a related field. Prior leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash, as well as a comprehension of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Gitlab, and CloudFormation.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud industry standards and protocols.
• Proficient at utilizing containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in utilizing monitoring technologies such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and communicate solutions to various levels of leadership effectively.
• Proficient in working with multi-cloud settings.
• Understanding of serverless computing and microservices architecture.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, or GCP are strongly preferred.

What will your typical day look like?

• Develop and execute cloud-based solutions on platforms such as AWS and Azure, in accordance with the company’s commercial and technical needs.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to automate the process of deploying and managing cloud services.
• Oversee, uphold, and enhance cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, and security.
• Enforce and sustain security protocols throughout the cloud architecture, including identity management, encryption, and adherence to industry standards.
• Contribute to the optimization of cloud performance and cost management.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support cloud-based applications and promptly address any arising concerns.
• Generate and uphold documentation for cloud infrastructure, processes, and procedures to ensure proper knowledge transfer within the team.
• You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
