The Senior PHP Software Engineer - Laravel Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. They must have a strong understanding of software development principles and be proficient in PHP programming. This role requires expertise in the Laravel framework and the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy web applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and develop appropriate solutions.
• Optimize application performance and recommend improvements.
• Develop APIs and integrate external services into web applications.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and support.
• Stay updated on emerging PHP and Laravel trends, tools, and technologies.
• Participate in the planning and estimation of software development projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in PHP web development, with a focus on Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
