Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our team. The Auto Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of vehicles. This includes working on a variety of systems such as wiring, lighting, starting, charging, ignition, and electronic control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic equipment and visual inspection.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, connectors, fuses, relays, and other electrical components.
• Install and configure electrical accessories, such as alarms, stereos, and navigation systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicle electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive electrical technologies and repair techniques.
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician, preferably in a reputable workshop or dealership.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
