Job summary
A leading services company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage and enhance its image and reputation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations or Communications and a minimum of 3 years of related experience. The PRO will be responsible for media relations, developing PR strategies, and handling communications during crises. The ability to communicate effectively in English and knowledge of local regulations are key for success in this role. A car is required, with fuel provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PRO or in a similar role.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to PR is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all public relations activities.

- Act as the main point of contact for all public relations activities and inquiries
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and other key stakeholders
- Plan and execute PR strategies and campaigns to promote the company and its services
- Respond to inquiries and manage crisis communications when necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify potential PR opportunities
- Handle any other PR-related tasks as assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PRO or in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing and editing abilities
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their use in PR
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to PR is preferred
- Must have your own car (Fuel will be provided).
