Clinical Data Coordinator jobs in United Arab Emirates

This role is responsible for development and implementation of data governance principles, policies, and processes. It is heading the data governance council and ensures group-wide adherence to all set standards. Intensive collaboration and alignment with other group functions and tenant organizations to ensure the above is a pivotal element.

Your job responsibilities will also include to:

1. Ensure the operational data governance policies in development of data management initiatives by supervising the Data Steward(s).
2. Align with external compliance authorities to design the content of the data governance structures, and update the latest data governance rules.
3. Coordinate the business and technical data owners within different business units as per data governance guidelines including defining the requirements, monitoring the progress, and controlling related KPIs etc.
4. Provide legal advice and opinions on a range of complex data governance issues, including interpretation of agreement terms.
5. Take charge in key data governance negotiation, draft preparation, and review progresses.
6. Develop and manage a proactive data regulatory strategy.
7. Define strategic data regulatory objectives and broad courses of action.
8. Develop perspective of possible data regulatory evolution.
9. Support the management of government relations and public policy processes.
10. Ensure implementation of the defined governance policies, processes, and guidelines across the business units and monitor compliance.
11. Work with DA business partners, data owners, and analytics and engineering teams to identify critical business risks related to raw and derived data to ensure use cases are within the data governance framework.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or any similar field or equivalent work experience accepted.
2. 10+ years of relevant experience within a particular area of expertise.
3. 3+ years of leading roles in a similar position.
4. Profound domain knowledge of critical data sets, priority use cases, and understanding of business processes.
5. Profound knowledge of how to define and implement data procedures and policies.
6. Profound knowledge of data management principles and concepts.
7. Profound knowledge and expertise in industry-leading data management practices.
8. Profound knowledge and experience in setting up and/or executing data governance in an organization.
9. Strong ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals.
10. Excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

1. Master’s degree in Information Technology or any similar field would be beneficial.
2. 13+ years of relevant experience within a particular area of expertise.
3. 6+ years in leading roles in a similar position.
4. Profound knowledge in data protection issues and can provide legal advice in this area, well-versed in compliance, data quality, master data management, business intelligence, process and project management in the tourism branch.
5. Profound knowledge of data & analytics cloud implementations and operations.
