Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Role
The Technician is to assist the engineer and Technician in day-to-day management of M&E operations and preventive maintenance in our client’s corporate office facilities. He or she should ensure that a high level of professionalism and customer service is maintained at all times and to participate/implement improvement projects.
Major Responsibilities
- Client/Stakeholder Management
Build strong working relationships with key client representatives and promote the company's engineering platform.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of programs and procedures. - Site Operations
Daily shift operational M&E activities, including ACMV, Air Compressor system, UPS, CRAC, Switchgear, Alarm system, BMS system, Access card system, Fire Protection system, Water supply and drainage system, PA system, RODI system, and miscellaneous electrical appliances.
Attending to technical-related interior works and faults, including Furniture, Carpets, Walls/fittings, Ceilings, and Doors/Glass Doors.
Daily inspection of systems, facilities, System data logging, and conducting essential equipment checks and meter readings.
Assist and supervise vendors and contractor services in the premises relating to Corrective Maintenance and Planned Preventive Maintenance and vendor briefings.
Assist during project works and internal Moves, Adds, and Changes activities.
Assist in Power Shutdown activities.
Respond to System Alarms and deal with emergency situations.
Write daily shift report and incident reports and assist to analyze the root cause of incidents.
Any other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager or Senior Technician.
To perform good plant housekeeping and rectify building defects. - Emergency Call Out
Stand-by 24/7 for all emergency call outs.
Coordinate appropriate action for rectification including preliminary analysis of fault.
Ideal Experience
Diploma or NTC certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Prior relevant work experience in industrial buildings.

- Technical Competence: Solid background in M&E, BMS, Fire alarm systems, and equipment knowledge.
