The Songwriter Music College and FM Pop Music school, the education arms of Funkie Monkies Music, are leading music institutions specialising in Songwriting, offering higher education and enrichment courses to equip both professionals and hobbyists with the skills and industry connection to break into the international music industry, through the Funkie Monkies music ecosystem.

The role of the Sales & Marketing Executive is to develop and execute recruitment strategies, and convert potential students from the lead pool generated by marketing activities.

Job Description

1. Develop and execute recruitment strategies with the General Manager
2. Strategise and coordinate lead generation marketing activities with the external marketing team
3. Nurture prospective students with a consultative approach and in a timely manner
4. Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment-related events such as Course Previews, Open Houses, and Workshops, that may be held outside of normal working hours as required
5. Provide administrative support to marketing and recruitment activities
6. Any other duties as required

Job Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in any field
2. Direct Sales experience is desirable
3. Experience in recruitment in the education sector is advantageous
4. Fluent in English and Mandarin (to communicate with potential leads interested in Mandarin-delivered courses)
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic start-up style environment
7. Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
8. Must possess initiative and be able to work independently with a positive attitude
9. Proficient in basic Canva, Google Workspace, Adobe, and MS Office applications
